Nursing Home Nurse (Registered Nurse)

This role plays a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of elderly residents in our care home. This role requires a combination of clinical expertise and compassionate care to deliver personalised medical care to residents with varying health conditions. The Nursing Home Nurse works closely with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and comfort.

• Provide direct medical care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Carry out routine health assessments and update care plans to reflect any changes in medical conditions.
• Assist in the development of personalised care plans for residents, collaborating with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate with families regarding their loved ones’ health, treatment plans, and any necessary changes in care.
• Ensure that all care activities are documented accurately and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in emergency care situations, providing first aid and stabilizing residents when needed.
