Nursing Assistant

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting nursing and medical staff in delivering care to patients in our care home. This role involves providing personal care to patients, assisting with daily living tasks, and helping patients recover and maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care, ensuring that patients are comfortable and supported at all times.
• Provide personal care to patients, including help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor patients’ conditions by checking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure) and reporting any changes.
• Assist with mobilizing patients and helping them with movement, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, or helping with walking.
• Support patients with basic medical tasks such as taking medication (under supervision) and changing dressings.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by ensuring their rooms are tidy and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, listening to patient concerns and offering reassurance when necessary.
• Assist in preparing patients for medical examinations, procedures, or tests.
